Using the library
- Books, rucksacks, overcoats and other personal objects must be left at the first-floor desk unless otherwise explicitly authorized by Sancho el Sabio Foundation staff.
- In order to facilitate research, users can bring their laptops into the library, in which case their owners will be held responsible for their use and surveillance.
- The Sancho el Sabio Foundation does not offer a loan service, meaning that its holdings can only be consulted on the library premises.
- Taking into account the special characteristics of some funds, such as posters, photographs, pamphlets, archives and microforms, it is necessary to make an appointment for consultation.
- Original copies of digitized holdings cannot be consulted unless express consent to do so is received from the department head.
- It is forbidden to take photographs inside the Sancho el Sabio Foundation, of its building or of its holdings. Nor are researchers permitted to scan holdings with their own equipment.
- Users must remain silent and behave respectfully towards staff and other users.
- Eating, drinking, smoking and the use of mobile phones is forbidden inside the building.
